Mark and Richard did an excellent job replacing my old brick fireplace with with a stone mantle and gas stove. They were great to work with, giving good advice, accurate size estimates in relation to what size chamber we could expect when the old fireplace was removed; on installation they were very thoughtful in relation to keeping everything as hassle-free and clean and soot free as possible, and Martina was brilliant at re-arranging dates when mantle delivery was delayed. Fantastic installation from start to finish by Richard and Mark! The fire has been in nearly a week now and we couldn't be happier with it. They did a detailed survey, provided a prompt and competitive quote and did a really neat and tidy installation. I was really impressed with the way they solved problems that arose on a difficult installation and were happy to let me get on with bits of the installation that I was doing myself (to which they even added some very valuable advice as well!). I was recommended the company by a work college. Although I had already had a number of quotes I found this one the most competitive. I booked an appointment for a quote and Mark arrived the same day. He set a work schedule and gave me a quote which I found to be very reasonable.
I went ahead with the quote and shortly received an email outlining the costs involved. I decided to go ahead with the work and a couple of weeks later both Mark and Richard arrived and started the work at the designated date and time. It was a two day install which involved preparing the chimney breast etc on the first day and installing the wood burning stove ten days later. Both Mark and Richard worked tirelessly for the two days and made a minimum of mess and noise. They 'made good' the plaster around the wood burner and gave me advice on how best to use it.
I would highly recommend this company.... even if they eat too many biscuits and bacon butties. :-)

We got lot's of quotes and were impressed by Richard and Mark from the start, by far the most credible and professional. They didn't appear to be the cheapest but when we analysed what's included there was little difference. Some other quotes didn't include removal of waste or sometimes plastering/making good. Sorry for being so slow to leave feedback. You did a brilliant job and we have thought of you often this winter as we have been enjoying the warmth of our big Cove 3 multi-fuel burner!
We would absolutely have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending you. Installing a burner in our 400 year old barn was far from an easy job and finding the right place for it was a challenge in itself. You were very patient and knowledgeable in helping us plan the project and you were very careful and very competent in how you installed the flue against the beams and then cut a hole in the roof for it!
You were spot on in your recommendation of which burner to choose. The Cove 3 gives a huge amount of ambient warmth despite the ceiling height. Its also super toasty to sit in front of - the dogs love it, especially after a cold wet walk!
Finally thank you for being such perfectionists and going the extra mile. It was very much appreciated and your dedication to a good job is a credit to you.
We hope to see you again for chimney sweeping in the autumn!

Firstly, Richard and Mark, our very sincere apologies for the delay in sending you our thanks for such an excellent job of work. We were full of good intentions to contact you but we were sidetracked into everyday tasks and the extra task of redecorating the sitting room - it is amazing how a new fireplace and a coat of paint can transform a room.
Secondly, many, many thanks for doing such an excellent job of work. We were very good and didn't light the fire until about 8 days after installation - we decided to wait until the bulk of the decorating was complete and we could actually sit down and enjoy the fire, and how we have enjoyed it! Brilliant in so many ways, not least because of your care and patience in ensuring that every line/surface was level and equal. Many, very sincere, thanks for that.

Richard and Mark, fitted our Clear view vision 500. Richard carried out a free of charge survey and all our questions were answered fully and he took time to explain everything in simple terms. Richard was always available before the installation took place to answer any further questions. The communication flow from this company is second to none simply excellent. I employed Richard and Mark to repair a leaking roof on my town house; and they did the job exceedingly well. They went out of their way to do the job as quickly as possible. That included finding a scaffolding company who did not charge the earth and then working three floors up. They kept in contact throughout the project showing me photos of the problem and the finished results. I would recommend them to anyone for their good manners and honesty as well as their professional workmanship.
